Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-05-07
By using SendBolt (the "service") you agree to these terms. They're short and direct. If anything here surprises you, email rahul@sendbolt.io before you start sending.
What you can use it for
Sending email to recipients who have explicitly opted in. Newsletters, transactional notifications, marketing campaigns, automation drips — all fine, provided every recipient gave you permission to email them and can unsubscribe with one click.
What you can't use it for
- Cold outreach to scraped or purchased lists
- Phishing, malware delivery, or credential harvesting
- Mass-marketing crypto, adult content, or anything that violates the destination jurisdiction's anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL)
- Sending from a domain you don't own or control
We reserve the right to suspend any tenant whose sending behaviour generates complaints above 0.3% or hard-bounce rate above 5% across a 24h window. You will be notified before suspension and have 24h to respond.
Bring-your-own-SMTP
When you configure per-domain SMTP credentials (Mailgun, SendGrid, etc.), the delivery path is your provider's — their terms and rate limits apply on top of ours. We orchestrate the campaign and track engagement; we are not responsible for delivery outcomes that originate at your relay.
Uptime & reliability
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the dashboard and the per-tenant SMTP orchestration layer. Status is published at /p/status. We do not (yet) offer a credits-back SLA — if uptime breaches matter to you, please ask us directly before signing on.
Your data
You own your contact lists and engagement events. We process them on your behalf, per the Privacy Policy. You can export everything at any time from the dashboard or via the API; on tenant deletion, we hard-delete within 30 days.
Pricing & billing
Currently free for early-access tenants. Pricing tiers and billing terms will be published at /p/pricing before any tenant is migrated to a paid plan. We give a minimum of 30 days' notice before any change to pricing or limits.
Limits of liability
Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, SendBolt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service. Our total liability is capped at the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim (or, if free, USD $50).
Changes & questions
We'll email all tenant owners at least 30 days before changing these terms in a material way. Questions: rahul@sendbolt.io.
